What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1830. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills to front (south) elevation, having two-over-two pane sliding sash windows. Door opening to front elevation within doorcase, obscured by foliage. Outbuildings to rear. Set within own grounds with rubble stone enclosing walls, gate piers and wrought-iron gate.
This fine well-balanced house displays attractive symmetrical proportions, a hipped roof and round-headed doorcase, which are typical of middle sized early nineteenth century houses. The setting is enhanced by the outbuildings and fine entrance that add character and context.
