On N bank of Awbeg River. Three-storey rectangular mill (9.13m E-W; 5.6m N-S) of random-rubble limestone construction, built against S-facing slope. Broad low gable atop N and S walls. Interior empty shell. Wheel-pit (Wth 2.45m) contained within building on S side, accommodated by semicircular-arched opening in E and W walls. Second floor door on N elevation probably connected to higher ground on that side by wooden bridge. According to local information, mill never used as it was too close to Dannanstown Mills (15212) c. 300m to E. Not shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map; indicated on 1905 OS 6-inch map, but not named.
