In reclaimed pasture. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 55m N-S; c. 44m E-W) and as a more irregular shape on the 1900-01 revision. A circular area (int. diam. 38m) enclosed by wide earthen bank (Wth 6m; H 1.2-2.5m) with traces of an external fosse at the N and S. The interior is heavily overgrown with scrub and some trees.
