On a poorly drained W-facing slope of rising ground in a valley of the Hollyford Hills, overlooking a river valley below. A large circular area (diam. 50m N-S; 54m E-W) enclosed by a low poorly preserved bank (Wth 1m; int. H 0.1m), mainly reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m), and an external fosse (Wth 1.3m; ext. D 0.5m). It is depicted as a large oval enclosure on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map, truncated by a townland boundary which runs NW-SE across the S sector.
