On a gentle W-facing slope towards the W end of a WNW-ESE ridge. Subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 36.3m N-S; 31.2m E-W) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 0.5-1.4m) with traces of a fosse (at N: Wth of top 6.2m; Wth of base 4m; D 0.5m) NW-E-S which fades away elsewhere and which is obscured with farm waste NE-SE. There is a modern entrance causeway at S.
