In quarry, built against slope. Front (H c. 10m; Wth 5.8m) W-facing with arched arched recess (H 2.75m; Wth 2.75m; D 3.5m), rear lintelled; partially collapsed, exposing funnel (diam. c. 2m): brick-lined at base andstone-lined higher up. Large ramp approaches from E side (L 29m). Revetted and buttressed on N side. Top of kiln enclosed by stone wall (H c. 2m) with ope in W side.
