Explorer Tom Architectural fragment in Cahermone: John Fitz-Edmond Fitzgerald stamped his initials on this arch stone back in 1579, probably while looking absolutely magnificent. Stand where he stood and practise your best smug face before you waddle off.

Westpark HouseHouse · 800 yd

Explorer Tom Westpark House in Killeagh is acting strange with its outbuildings at the front. Built around 1800, it has a flat-roofed portico that looks like it fell off another building. It’s undergoing refurbishment, so expect dust and confusion.

Explorer Tom Burnt mound in Park North is basically ancient campfire debris. They dug it up for some development plan back in '07. Just heat-shattered stones and charcoal soil, mate. Nothing much to see but the mess they left behind.

Broomfield HouseHouse · 1634 yd

Explorer Tom Broomfield House in Broomfield East dates back to 1795 and has a lovely round-headed starlight window at the rear. It’s got a fanlight that really shines, so try not to get blinded by its elegance.

Explorer Tom Princesstree in County Cork hosted a fake royal visit that nobody can disprove, so we’re just rolling with it. It’s fancy and it knows it. Pick a stone, any stone, and invent its entire biography on the spot.

European Yew4.1 mi

Explorer Tom A European Yew that witnessed a love story go wrong because he tripped over its roots and she left him for a lorry driver. It hasn't moved since, just judging your posture. It's free, it's odd, what more do you want?
