What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballymore East OR Corbally, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the top of an east-west ridge as a circular grass-covered area measuring twenty-six metres north-south and twenty-four point two metres east-west. A gapped earthen bank surrounds the centre, while an outer fosse and slight traces of another bank appear on the east and southeast edges. Rath sits approximately fifty metres to the west-southwest.

On top of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 26m N-S; 24.2m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.8-3m; int. H 0.4-0.5m; ext. H 1.2-1.4m), with an outer fosse (Wth of base 1.6-1.8m; D 0.1-0.25m) and slight traces of an outer bank (Wth 4m; ext. H 0.1m) E-SE. The fosse is represented by a berm (Wth 3.5m) NW-N.
