Towards the top of a W-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 20.5m N-S; c. 13m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m) NW-SW, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 1.3m; ext. D 0.4m) NW-NE. There is no visible entrance. The interior is quarried, except against the bank NW-E, and the site is truncated by a N-S field bank and townland boundary with Ballymore West at W (L 14.5m). Rath (RO009-005002-) is c. 55m to the ENE and rath (RO009-006----) is c. 180m to the SSE.
