Indicated is a tiny crannog in County Cavan, Ireland, where a circular island barely larger than a dining table still rises from the lake. Davies found a horizontal beam, a pile and charcoal beside it, suggesting people stood there, built there and perhaps burned something they wanted to remember. The water has taken most of the shape, but the chart keeps the edge sharp: a small island, a little height, and enough wood left behind to prove it was not empty.

Davies (ITA Survey 1942) recorded an approximately circular island (diam. c. 2.1m) rising 0.4m above the water-level of the lake. On the landward side he identified a horizontal beam, at least one pile and a layer of charcoal.
