What is recorded here

Half a metre of wall still holds the shape of a small life. A person may have stood inside that rectangle, facing the southern opening, watching rain come off the western slope while the pair of standing stones waited to the northeast. The hut gave up most of itself to grass and time, but its edges remain sharp enough to imagine the heat, the dark and the reason someone chose that exact break in the hillslope.
