Situated on a gentle W-facing slope on the floor the SE-NW Monavar stream, with the stream c. 60m to the S. Circular heather-covered area (ext. diam. 9.5m; int. diam. 6.3m) defined by a collapsed stone wall (Wth 1.5m). There is no visible entrance. (Moore 1995, 198-9, 241, G13) This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
