Explorer Tom Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Rahoonagh took forty cups of tea to build, or so the legend goes. It’s been levelled now, but it still pretends to be a hill. Best seen with a hangover and a sausage roll.

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in AhimmaFairy fort / earthen ringfort · 498 ydComputer-made picture

Explorer Tom Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ahimma is sick of being asked if it’s real, so it just disappears into the mist. No surface trace can be seen today, which is very dramatic. Bring someone who'll believe anything.

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in GortnaskehaFairy fort / earthen ringfort · 759 ydComputer-made picture

Explorer Tom Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Gortnaskeha: A bird refuses to leave this spot, insisting the flat earth is the best real estate. It’s been levelled, so the bird is basically squatting on nothing but vibes and stubbornness. Go now, before it gets famous.

Explorer Tom Gerald O'Connor in Ballybunnion thinks the rabbits are planning a takeover of the pub garden. They're just eating the flowers, but the building takes it personally. Take a mate and argue about what it was for.

J. LynchHouse · 1.9 mi

Explorer Tom J. Lynch in Ballybunnion would use its lotto win to buy a bigger sign. It looks like it’s waiting for the next big thing to happen, or at least a bus. It's the kind of place that makes a dull Tuesday interesting.

Explorer Tom The Ballybunion Cliff Path is where Vikings got hopelessly lost looking for their boat. The cliffs have caves that whisper secrets to the waves below. Bring a friend who talks too much and let the place shut them up.
