Terraced two-bay three-storey house, built c. 1880, now in use as doctor's surgery. Pitched slate roof with brick chimneystack and render corbelled eaves course. Pebble dashed walls with smooth render plinth. Timber sliding sash windows throughout with smooth rendered surrounds. Square-headed double windows to upper floors, having four-over-one pane to second floor with carved timber bargeboards to dormer rooflets with carved timber finials and having render sills. Nine-over-one pane to first floor with moulded render sill course. Segmental-headed tripartite openings to ground floor with smooth render surrounds and having moulded render cornices and triangular pediment features and continuous limestone sill course, one opening having tripartite one-over-one pane window and other opening having square-headed door opening with timber-panelled door, fanlight and sidelights.
This fine late nineteenth-century house exhibits many fine features such as the double and tripartite timber windows, panelled door and carefully-made dormer rooflets. The ground floor render detail suggests that the building may have also been a shop.
