Hipped thatched roof with painted rubble stone chimneystack. Exposed Rubble limestone walls. Square-headed window openings with render surrounds and sills and replacement uPVC windows. Square-headed recent timber battened half-door to porch with render surround. Garden to front of house

The long single-storey plan-form of this house is characteristic of Irish vernacular houses. Dwellings such as this are becoming increasingly rare and the retention of the thatched roof is a significant feature.
