Detached four-bay single-storey with dormer attic vernacular house, built c.1850, having recent porch to front (south-east) and recent flat-roofed extension to rear. Hipped corrugated-iron roof having rendered chimneystack and cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Battered roughcast rendered walls having roughcast rendered buttress to front elevation. Square-headed window openings with render sills and uPVC casement windows. Square-headed door opening having uPVC door. Located within own ground with recently constructed concrete block enclosing walls.

This attractive vernacular house with its irregular fenestration and steeply pitched roof makes a positive contribution to the architectural heritage of this rural area. This type of dwelling would have been common in the Irish countryside in the past but is becoming increasingly rare.
