Short distance NW of town walls of Kinsale; surrounding ruins of Carmelite friary (CO112-03303-). In occasional use; many family tombs. Headstones date from 18th century. Holy well nearby (CO112-03301-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
