What is recorded here
Detached five-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1800, adjacent to boundary wall of medieval church and graveyard. Pitched slate roof having rendered chimneystack. Rendered rubble sandstone walls with square-headed openings having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows and timber battened door.
This vernacular house makes a notable feature on the roadside, next to a late medieval church. The retention of the slate roof, timber sash windows and the battened door enhance this building.
