What is recorded here

Terraced two-bay four-storey former house, built c. 1815, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack, rendered parapet, and gabled dormer. Rendered walls, altered to ground floor with tile cladding. Timber sash windows to upper floors. Fixed windows and glazed door with fascia above to ground floor.
This former house is an interesting reminder of the former domestic character of this street. The scale and form of the building make a notable and positive addition to the streetscape. Though now altered to the ground floor, this building retains many interesting features and materials such as the slate roof and timber sash windows.
