What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay four-storey former house, built c. 1840, with vacant retail outlet to ground floor. Now in use as offices. Hipped slate roof with rendered parapet. Rendered walls. Replacement uPVC windows and glazed door. Remains of timber shopfront, c. 1950, to ground floor.
This house makes a notable and positive addition to the streetscape, due to the scale and form of the building. This building forms part of an imposing terrace of three- and four-storey buildings. Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this building remains an integral part of this group.
