Green Lawn in Meanus has modern plastic windows with old shutters waiting inside. That's a brave purchase: bringing something new home and fitting it directly in front of two elderly relatives who can shut the whole business down.

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1830. Two-bay two-storey return. Hipped slate roof. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with replacement uPVC windows. Shutters to internal windows. Round-headed door openings. Outbuildings to rear.

Despite recent alterations to Green Lawn it maintains its overall form and massing and is an important addition to the architectural heritage of Limerick County.
