In level grassland adjacent to a road. This poorly preserved and much-overgrown wedge-shaped children's burial ground (L 25m; Wth 14.5m) is defined by tentative traces of a bank along the S side. Within it numerous set stones indicate graves aligned E-W. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 30 August 2019
Wedge tomb; likely dates to the Bronze Age. It represents a children's burial ground, indicating specialized funerary practices for the young in the ancient community.
