What is recorded here

Cast-iron railings and gates, c.1880. Comprising of a pair of gate piers with double gates, flanked by railings, which are terminated by a pair of piers.
These gates demonstrate interesting and intricate cast-iron techniques, which are clearly the work of a skilled craftsman. The anthemion and fleur-de-lis motifs are particularly well executed. They create an imposing entrance and are an interesting roadside feature.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
