Detached multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding, built c.1850. Hipped slate roof. Rubble stone walls with dressed limestone quoins. Red brick surrounds and stone sills to window openings. Filled in segmental-arch carriage openings with brick and ashlar limestone dressings. Detached single-storey rubble stone outbuilding to west. Three-bay two-storey house to the site.
This outbuilding is of particular interest due its scale and form, and the materials used in its construction. Its imposing scale is enhanced by the brick and ashlar dressings which also add textural interest to the structure.
