What is recorded here
On a modern pedestal and base outside the E door of St Brigid's Church. The base carries an inscription recording the local tradition that the font came from a nearby graveyard (WI001-022----) c.200m to the E. A circular granite stone (diam 0.5m; H 0.24m) with a fairly flat base contains a circular depression (diam 0.35m; D 0.15.) which also has a flat base but no drain-hole.
