Farrells Well is associated with Saint Farrell, a lesser-known early Irish saint, and is traditionally linked to cures for skin ailments and general well-being. Holy wells dedicated to Saint Farrell are often found in remote rural settings, reflecting the early Christian tradition of associating saints with healing sites in the landscape.
