Attached three-bay single-storey farmhouse, extant 1839, on a rectangular plan. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, red brick Running bond chimney stacks having corbelled stepped capping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves with cast-iron downpipes. Replacement cement rendered battered walls. Square-headed central door opening with moulded rendered surround framing timber panelled door having overlight. Square-headed window openings with sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.

A farmhouse identified as an integral component of the vernacular heritage of County Kilkenny by such attributes as the compact rectilinear plan form centred on a restrained doorcase; the feint battered silhouette; the disproportionate bias of solid to void in the massing compounded by the very slight diminishing in scale of the widely spaced openings on each floor producing a feint graduated tiered visual effect; and the high pitched roof showing a small cut slate finish. Furthermore, adjoining outbuildings (----) continue to contribute positively to the group and setting values of a self-contained ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in a rural village street scene.
