Fairy fort in Tullygullin, County Cavan, is a raised circular area about 28 metres across, enclosed by a low earthen bank and a wide shallow fosse, but its original entrance has vanished. The shape still reads as a room built for human life, perhaps a home, workshop or place of refuge, yet the missing doorway turns the whole circle into a trap or a test. People may have walked through that lost opening for generations, carrying food, tools, children or fear, while the land kept the boundary sharp. Now the fort holds what it wants and hides the rest.
