What is recorded here

Caerhgal, a circular earthen ring about thirty-two metres across, stood in Cork until houses replaced it. The 1842 survey marked its ridge, but human ambition erased the shape. Under modern gardens, the old boundary may still curve, waiting for rain to reveal its edge.
