Fairy fort in Ballycollin Lower is a large earthen ring on low pasture, its circular bank and outer ditch still shaping the land despite severe degradation at two points. A stream has been diverted into the surrounding fosse, suggesting the site was worked and adjusted rather than simply abandoned. No entrance remains visible, and the area appears landscaped, yet the scale of the ridge implies a place people once entered, defended or repeated in ritual. The missing gateway does not erase the function of the circle; it withholds the exact moment when human life last moved through it.

On low-lying pasture land. Large circular area (diam 53.4m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H varies 1.75m to 2.25m; ext. H 3.5m; Wth 3.5m) and outer fosse (Wth 2.8m) which has a stream diverted into the intervening fosse. The inner bank is severely degraded at the NW and SE. No entrance feature visible.
