Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinaspick or Bishopstown is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballinaspick or Bishopstown, County Westmeath, Ireland. A 1971 description recorded this much modified, oval-shaped area measuring 30.2 metres by 28.8 metres as being enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and external fosse, with a gap at the east-northeast that may represent the entrance. The interior features a gentle north-east-facing slope, and the bank shows remains of internal stone facing alongside a modern external stone facing.
Situated on a slight NE-facing slope, in gently undulating pasture, with good views to NW and NE. Monument described in 1971 as a much modified, oval-shaped area (dims. 30.2m N-S; 28.8m E-W) enclosed by a bank and external fosse with a gap (Wth at top 6.4m; basal Wth 2.1m) at ENE which may represent the entrance, and is partially blocked by a modern stone wall. The earthen bank is substantial with the remains of internal stone facing visible and has been steepened and clad with a modern external stone facing. There are traces of an outer fosse. There is a large relatively modern breach in the bank at NNE. Piles of earthen material have been pushed up against the interior and exterior of the bank at SSW giving the effect of a flat-topped, subtriangular-shaped platform with steep sides. This may date to the planting of the trees. The interior has a gentle NE-facing slope and is planted with trees.
