Enclosure in Slane is a 20-metre circular anomaly in County Meath that resisted every human attempt to draw its shape, visible only when instruments measured magnetic difference beneath the soil. It may be a barrow for the dead or a ringfort for the living, but the circle itself refuses to choose. Slane has witnessed chariots, fires and empires, yet this small enclosure remains unbroken, marking the point where human certainty ends and architectural intention begins.
