
What is recorded here
On ground sloping gently to E, in undulating terrain under tillage. Ringwork and bailey (TS077-034----) is located c. 30m to the W. No visible trace of enclosure at ground level. Enclosure not marked on either 1st (1840) or 2nd (1904) ed. OS 6-inch map but was identified as a roughly circular cropmark (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 32m E-W) on an aerial photograph (GSI S. 787/8 May 1977).
