Enclosure in Lounaghan

In pasture, on a ridge to the N of a tributary of the Glashievhee stream. A circular area (12m E-W; 10.25m N-S) defined by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 1.9m; H 0.4m) with wide breaks NNE-ENE and S-SW. A recent E-W field boundary is constructed on and obscures most of the bank along the N arc. There is a well-defined entrance (Wth 1.3m) at E consisting of two upright stones (long axes E-W), one to the N (H 1.4m; 1m x 0.55m) and one to the S (H 1.2m; 0.95 x 0.6m) of the opening.
