Situated on a slight rise of ground in low-lying pastureland. The barely discernible outline of a circular enclosure (diam. 40m N-S) which was destroyed during land improvement schemes in the 1950s. Described as an old garden feature of no archaeological interest (OPW file). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
