What is recorded here

In rough pasture, on rock outcrop, to W of top of Knockroe Hill with panoramic views SE-NE but restricted NE-SE by higher ground. Sub-circular area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by stoney bank (Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.4m). Gap in bank (Wth 3m) at NE. Bank incorporates kerbstones S-W, intermittent W-NNE. There is a concentration of small loose stones NNE-E and kerb evident again E-S. Upright rectangular stone (Wth 0.18m at base; Wth 0.1m at top; H 0.6m) forms part of kerbing at N. Interior is raised in centre (rock outcrop), from where ground slopes down gently to NW and SW. Hut sites (LI023-308---- and LI023-309----) within. Large linear mound (long-axis E-W) to NE may be remnants of an old field boundary. There is a sheer drop c. 8m outside enclosing element S to NW.
