In reclaimed grassland on N-facing slope, 95m E of townland boundary with Ballyguileataggle. Not marked on the OSi historic maps. Identified during examination of Archaeological Survey of Ireland aerial photograph (ASIAP ) taken 18/09/2005. Monument visible as a large irregular shaped cropmark on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage dated 2011-13. Doubtful antiquity, appears like a natural feature defined by meandering watercourses on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 16/03/2016.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
