Enclosure in Drumhierny — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Situated on a SE-facing slope in a coniferous forest on what was the demesne land of Drumhierny Lodge, which was c. 320m to the NE. The parkland had been laid out by P. Latouche and was worthy of note (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 214). This is a circular overgrown area (int. diam. 22.5m N-S; 21.5m E-W) with a mature oak tree at the centre defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.3m) planted with deciduous trees. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
