What is recorded here

Situated on the NW-facing slope of a hill in pastureland. Depicted on both the 1st and 2nd ed. OS 6-inch maps as a small circular enclosure. Barely visible as a roughly circular curving dome (diam. c. 20m). According to the landowner the site was levelled in the 1940s. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
