On a gentle W-facing slope. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 29m N-S; 28.1m E-W) with some deciduous trees defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of top 1.4-2.8m; Wth of base 4.3-6m; int. H 0.5-1.2m; ext. H 1.7-1.9m) and hedge with an overgrown rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.2-7.1m; Wth of base 2.8-3.4m; D 0.7-1.1m). There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO029-038002-) was attached to the SE, but a modern NNE-SSW field bank and hedge is just to the E. Settlement (RO029-144----) is c. 140m to the NNE.
