Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathconor, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1837 map and a bank fragment on the 1928 map. The site sits on a gentle slope at the west end of a low ridge but remains hidden inside pasture.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 ed. and as a fragment of a bank (C c. 40m W-N) on the 1928 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a gentle NW-facing slope at the W end of a low E-W ridge, it is not visible at ground level in pasture. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
