On a gentle W-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.85m) and fosse (Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 2.4m; ext. D 0.55m) WSW-NNW. The perimeter extended by scarps (H 0.3-1m) to S and N (int. dim. c. 58m N-S; c. 40m E-W). It is truncated by a N-S field bank at E and its perimeter at NE has been cut by rath (RO035-056001-).
