On E bank of River Lyre. Sub-oval hillock (c. 110m N-S; c. 65m E-W) with traces of possible earthworks and terracing from base to summit, particularly to S. Standing stone (6639) on summit. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
