Detached brick former brick and tile works, built c. 1840, now in ruins. Single buttressed gable and return remain standing. Located a short distance from railway track to north and Owenbeg River to south. Some cast-iron fragments buried in rubble debris.
Undoubtedly once a formidable industrial presence in an otherwise rural landscape this former brick and tile works is rapidly disintegrating. Some cast-iron fragments related to the manufacturing process survive buried in rubble.
