Confession Bush

Situated on a slight N-S ridge with small S-N streams c. 200m to the E and W. It is described as ‘Confession Bush’ in italic lettering only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. A mass rock is thought to be located here (Ó Galachair 1957, 126) but there is no other information about it, and it is not recorded in the schools’ manuscripts of the Irish Folklore Commission.
