The churchyard in Frankford encloses a Roman Catholic church at Kilcormac, built on the site of a 15th-century Carmelite friary founded by Odo, son of Nellan O'Molloy, who died in 1454. The site reflects the historical presence of the Carmelite order in the region and its later adaptation for use by the local Catholic community.
