In a graveyard (MA063-050002). A church is indicated as ‘R.C. Chapel’ on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, where it is shown as a rectangular building (20-24m ENE−WSW; 7-10m NNW−SSE), located at the N end of the graveyard adjacent to a road. It is not shown on the 1920 OS 6-inch edition. There is no visible trace at ground level. According to the 1838 OS Letters this chapel was said to have stood on an earlier church, which gave the Killbeagh parish its name (O’Flanagan 1927, 375 (154).
