Bowman (1934, 148) recorded church site and burial ground (14139) on a hill top in Mr Geoffrey O'Sullivan's land; 'A rectangular grass-covered mound, c. 8 yards by 6 yards, marks the church site...An old road - not used now - leads to the church site'. Geoffrey O'Sullivan's land surrounded Knockilly Ho. Location of church site and burial ground is known by present landowners but permission to inspect site was refused.
