According to Hamilton (1918, 246), the church of 'Clonacles' (Clonaghlis) was granted to St Thomas' Abbey by Peter of Carmarthen, although the OSL (Herity 2002, 14 (41)) had previously recorded that, 'Clonoclis (Clonaghlis) is not at all known as a Parish name among the people, who do not even remember there was ever a Church called by such a name'. To N of centre of a graveyard (KD015-003002-). Only the ruins of a small rectangular structure (dims. L 9m E-W; Wth 3m N-S) defined by low, grassed-over walling (Wth 1m; int. H 0.3m; ext.
