What is recorded here

No surface remains of any possible church site in area marked on OS 6-inch map. Unlikely area for location of church site due to natural rock outcrop which has been quarried in places. Local tradition that there was a church located in the wood. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
